OMFG That was the most fun Ive ever had in a theater! Planet Terror was way over the top. Lots of zombies, blood, gore, babes, humor, and lots of other good stuff. It was a roller coaster ride in the mind of Robert Rodriguez and I enjoyed every minute of it.
Contrary to what people are saying about Death Proof starting off slow and blah blah blah I thought it was a nice change from the total anarchy going on in Planet Terror. The dialog in the movie is awesome and extremely important for character building. The whole first half of the film sets up the ending very well (you want to see Kurt Russel's character get whats coming to him). The ending is great and everyone in the theater was cheering. Grindhouse is by far my favorite movie of the year!
If you go in the theater with an open mind and check your over inflated expectations at the door you should leave the theater with a smile on your face.

Here is my final point. About drugs, about alcohol, about pornography and smoking and everything else. What business is it of yours what I do, read, buy, see, say, think, who I fuck, what I take into my body - as long as I do not harm another human being on this planet? - Bill Hicks
Throughout human history, as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are, or where we are going in this ocean of chaos, it has been the authorities, the political, the religious, the educational authorities who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing, forming in our minds their view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable, open-mindedness; chaotic, confused, vulnerability to inform yourself. - Timothy Leary
