meh like 115ish i think, some random place in...fuck i have no idea. some place between south dakota and washington inclusive. i just remember a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge open stretch of straight well paved road, so we took turns maxing the spedometer for shits and giggles
o yeah, 94 prizm i believe
i drive a 95 protege, gone i think....105 in that, nowadays i'm scared to break 85
and one night coming back from rhode island with my gf she was asleep and i got on the highway going the wrong direction (i went north, meant to go south, its a weird stretch of highway), and just wanted to be home so i was going about 115 for a while. here's the kicker, i was only going that fast to see if i could catch up to virtually the only other dude on the road then. an early 90s aerostar
going 115
175mph with a customized '68 Camaro on the German autobahn. Man i just love the "rawr" of a real V8.
194mph with a Porsche 996 GT3 on a race track. Total madness!
Would be too scary to drive at those speeds on the public roads around here...

170 kmh (105 mph) in the old 1990 Opel Vectra. That was before I got a speeding ticket, never dare going fast anymore. Sooooo expensive :/
Btw, the highest speed limit here is 100 kmh (62 mph), and it's 90 (56) on most highways, it's ridiculous.

how's the riding in florida? I've talked to a few people who ride there and those particular people never wear gear. sandals and no helmet is the norm from what I gather.
Florida has some of the least educated people ive ever met. Im going to make a sweeping generalization here and call them "generally stupid". From it being like a 3rd world country in line formation, driving, and public behavior to things such as motorcycles with no gear "because it is hot". Thats like not wearing a bulletproof vest as a SWAT guy because its heavy. Fuckin idiots.
God I hate Florida.

The bad thing is that its so unaerodynamic that if i am doing 100ish, as soon as i take my foot off the gas it will drop 10mph in about 2 seconds.

lol, thats one way of looking at it.
Its good that if i do see the police i can just take my foot off the gas and go past them; rather than break hard and have the nose dip.
