My biggest problem is how quickly some people seem to follow trends for the sake of it rather than having the will to discover for themselves. I always found myself growing up on different stuff to most people but I'm proud that I did it for myself and didn't just go for whatever was seen to be cool.

Sorry I shouldn't have said "don't listen" cos I still do listen the stuff now and again. i meant I don't still buy the stuff, but I do break out all my old REZ mix tapes that my big brother used to buy now and again, people like producer, carl cox and lenny D was the shit I grew up on - still love all that stuff to this day. I'm the same with all the bxr stuff that picotto used to do, I still like to get the records out for a mix to take me back to cream 2001 and the first time I saw BIG MAURO.

Thank you, thank you.

You changed my quote a bit, though.

It's very atypical and basically is down to the fact that many people can't be seen to be liking something for a long period of time. regardless of if it's better or worse now, they just move on with trends. Trance swept america after it exhausted europe.

Fuck electro, I hate it, and always have. I also never enjoyed As The Rush Comes.

BTW- I listen to alot of rock more now, like The smiths and Deerhoof.

There's a word that sums up this sort of behaviour, and that word is 'reject.'

1998-present still going strong, though I am MUCH pickier these days, which has resulted in me listening to alot of psytrance in recent months.
