the response isn't poor in terms of depth, but it's just sloppy in comparison to the bm5as... but these are the new mackies, and i was talking about the 8 inch ones... didn't really look into the 6 inch kind. the 824s push down ridiculously deep, but it's messy even in the acoustically treated showroom they had. boo mackie. that's right, I said it, Ricky.
