lately i go to parties more to see producers/djs whom i havent seen in awhile and MOSTLY to see friends. you always HOPE for a night of awesome sounds and unexpected tracks. its been a long long time since ive felt a rush from beginning to end at a party as i did in the past (PVD's Studio gig was one of those rarities this year tho - that was an amazing night but then again when PVD is GREAT his sets sound like no other.) Jasons set was really great, then A&B came on, and maybe Drew n I both had too high expectations for them; the set was actually meh throughout most of the night ...this could have been cuz we probably missed parts of the party because we kept going upstairs/downstairs because the main floor was too damn hot and crowded. We almost went home at 3am but then i heard "No One on Earth" one of my fav tracks of ALL time...and i was on the 2nd floor taking videos of the crowd and singing the lyrics out loud next to G and having the best time evar -- so much so that the bouncer had to tell me a few times to leave the 2nd floor (cuz they were telling everyone to leave at the time) ahahha. btw nice to see some of ur SI krew from the BBQ come out, very nice =)

at least they didnt throw down some of the 'usual' trance tracks that other djs seem to LOVE playing over and over and over again (from mid2006 to now) - looks like they are finally RETIRED, yay!

but it was fun nevertheless from 4-close with awesome euphoric music, some old school and madd energy. it was GREAT seeing A&B again..and esp to see Paavo go nuts on the decks, he is absolutely adorable ahhaha. I could see why a lot of ppl would have loved this party, hard resounding beats and tracks one after the other throughout most of the party like most NYC trance parties seem to be gettting like these days. it just gets way too repetitive-sounding to me and all songs start sounding similar with no *defining* moments. however, since I listen to TATW constantly i love the variety that they usually put out (new and upcoming tracks). and i so loved when they threw down their own productions (old AND new) that just really stood out (esp HOME club mix (!!!) and Good for Me <3) Breakfasts tune was great as well as a handful of others, thats about it.

will have pics/vids up after the wknd. Afer closing the party, we packed it up and went straight to my moms house for a quiet wkend of tanning, pizza and movies and sleeping out of the terrace - been wonderful so far.

hope everyone is enjoying their weekend as well!!!

I only head 2 trance songs the whole night everything else was that electro trance crap.

That's why I don't post reviews. I always have a great time no matter how good or bad the party is. This one had its moments, but def not the best of the year.

I showed up late for this one... walked in while they were playing Air For Life which was cool. I had a good time overall, some ppl said the party was lacking something. for me i think it might have been that a&b's set didn't have a whole lot of tension and release to it, it wasn't very dynamic, more like back to back bangers...ya kno? But there were alot of good tunes played no doubt...

Overall it was a fun night...there was a pretty nice vibe goin, alot of beautiful women as eco mentioned earlier, pacha was pretty comfortable for the most part, not too croweded and actually cool, and i got to see alot of friends and nyta's...good times...

+1

BTW, I'm also atleast taking partial credit for the "good for me (club mix)" finale...(gave Paavo my phone with a text stating the request and he showed it to Tony...and what do you know the next and final song was...lol)

Great night, I had a blast!

The track that did it for me last night was:

wamdue project - king of my castle (sander van doorn remix)

I really enjoyed A&B's set. I can see how some may have not liked the first hour as it wasn't necessarily high energy. I personally enjoyed it and they definitely built the energy as the night went on (I'm a sucker for dj's that know how to build a set).

I could be wrong but we may have been spoiled for the last 2 Made @ Pacha events (Armin and Ferry) where they had the Laser show. For those who are saying it felt as if something was missing, maybe that thing was the absence of the laser show?

I jumped on a plane right after Pacha to head to Mexico. I had a gig here tonight and after the gig I played an afterhours. Mexicans really know how to party Great weekend, lots of fun, need sleep!

Thanks so much to all who came early to hear my set as well as for all of the support You guys are awesome.

I'm with you on that one. I just show up looking to have a great time listening to tunes and hanging out with friends. The best time is bringing noobs in and watching them have the time of their lives.
