Hardcore is very enjoyable if it's hardcore + another genre, like hardcore + techno, hardcore + breakbeat, etc.

I tend to only hate the styles of EDM that are hard to avoid due to popular tastes in the local scene. All that fringe wank (like nose-bleed gabbercore, or whatever) doesn't bother me since it's easy to ignore. That said...

Speed Garage (GOD, do I ever hate that shit.)
Florida Breaks (how can a 'breaks' style be so lacking in the funk?)
Hard House (specifically the UK/scouse variant)
Funkless Farting Bassline House (commonly confused with electro house)

Btw, i dont get why everyone hates DnB. Drum and Bass can be amazing, especially the more progressive artists like Logistics and Artificial Intelligence. Sure there is a lot of crap DnB out there, you just have to know where to look.

Exactly. Though same goes for most genres out there.

(I purposely didn't write all genres out there. )

My guess is it's the culture that sprung up around D'n'B rather than the actual music folks around here seem to dislike. It's not like the trancecrackers and junglists ever got along, hence why they always have seperate rooms at parties.

Deep House is just so slow and boring IMO
