my favorites growing up were the iron dragon, disaster transport, gemini, mean streak and magnum. i remember riding mean streak 3 times in a row once. the corkscrew at cedar point was my first roller coaster.

Thanks Tricia... I STILL haven't uploaded the pics. The camera batteries died, so I have to wait until the batteries are charged. I will try and remember to do it tomorrow. I am excited to see the vids/pics myself

I didn't tell you guys about how the one roller coaster malfunctioned!!

We were on Disaster Transport (coincidentally), and the ride stopped about 2 feet before it was supposed to, so the locking system on our restraints wouldn't release. We at first thought it was part of the "show", as the whole thing is supposed to look like some sort of futuristic shit with things "failing" etc. Anyway, the chick was like "please lift up your arms and we will release the restraints", and the chick in the booth is shaking her head at her. They turned all the lights on, so the riders in the other trains were like "WTF??" and all freaked out, and then they had to manually have the thing released. They then had to "escort" us out of the train, and being that we were at the very back, and were actually the only ones not on the platform (instead just sitting on the track about 30 feet up), they had to practically lift us out and put us on the platform.

It was crazy.

My vid talks about our ratings for the ride, and we ended up rating it lower after that because it took so long.

We decided to skip any wooden roller coasters (minus the mine ride), as both of us don't really enjoy the jerking around and not-so-smooth ride.

You need to invest in a USB thing, that the memory card slips into. and then you stick it in the usb port and voila.

You call it a 'thingamajig' in woman speak.

Ah, I didn't realize it wasn't your camera. Oh well, now you know what to buy when you get yours. I only baught it because I broke the cord that came with it. Besides, this little nifty thing is perfect for bringing with you if you need to upload pics on the spot.
