My statements make perfect sense. You build a night playing slower less popular tracks, IE. House, then build into trance, which he played for a good 4+ hours, then bring it down a notch and play more slower tunes towards the end of the night again. What's so wrong with that?
The man spun for like 7 friggin hours (whatever, he played a long-ass time on those decks!). So stop your fucking crying, because the trance that he did play was unfuckingbelievable! And to hear people bitch about some house being played, or 1 or 2 tracks they disliked...
Ummmm, pretty much all the tracks he played were brought out of retirement. And how exactly would you have been disappointed? If there were no trance, no friends, crappy sound, too packed, and the DJ sucked??? well none of that happened... you missed out on probably one of the BEST trance nights to grace this city this year! |
Nice try ass, You advertise TRANCE thats what people go for...not to hear 4 hours of house then trance. Funny how i don't see any other TRANCE DJ's play house then trance...they stick to what they are known to do...

LOL, so much nonsense all over this one, has me crying.
Party of the year? CRIBBY the voice of reason in standing up for the advertised trance party!!! I love it.
Honestly morty, if I am going to "the best of trance" cd release party, i don't want to hear more than 50% house...As cribby said, elevate the night with a reasonable mix featuring trance, not a sudden rev of the bpm randomly. (don't even try to tell me that transition was good)
Not trying to continue any arguments, just stating what the reasonable expectation was.
To some other people around here tho...if you want to just argue pointlessly all day, I suggest you find a wife....
eg) Some trance dj's dabble in house????
GOOD point man...Next time I hear a Sander or ferry set I will expect more house than trance....
You want to throw in constant sarcastic remarks to sound knowledgeable, try to have a point.
review:
Horrible dull house party til 1:45 where it turned into a sweat filled slaughterhouse of the advertised tunes.
Best part prior to 1:45 was hearing a good number of people tell MO how bad he sucks when the DJ booth lowered....Sure some people were having fun and praising him as well, but there were so many angry faces waiting for trance....Those comments wiped the grin off MO's face in a hurry tho.
Once things finally picked up, it was nice to hear a lot of those tracks...Can't satisfy everyone tho, and I am sure some favourites were missed. As well everyone may have not liked some of the tracks that were played. Regardless, wasn't bad, and stayed on a good beat. The scorching heat took a toll on most of us tho. As well, the fact that I could not stand the initial house set took me out mentally. ended up leaving a little earlier than expected.
And finally, don't care if it still under 3 years old, helsinki scorching can be played with the classics any time.
