I know. Theres FOBs at Deep nights even. The point is that dude is once again full of shit.
I like ALOT of things about Avalon, and I dont like a few others, but comparing it to Fabric is ludicrous. Avalon has a LONG long way to go before it can match the atmosphere at Fabric.
Clovis, I think what it's more like is that the heads at Avalon really like Fabric and what it has done. And Fabric has shown what can be done by being risky and build nights around the music rather than just the DJs.
With that, I think Avalon is looking at that model and trying to do a similar thing. To the point that a night Fabric has is being brought out to Avalon. Seeing that, it looks like maybe a relationship between the two establishments might be at hand, but I honestly don't know.

If Avalon wants to be even remotely similar to Fabric, they're going to have to do a whole lot more than just change the music.
Fabric, as a venue, is DESIGNED to be a dance club...it's not just a theater turned live act venue turned night club

As has been said, thats a great idea, but theres a looooong long way to go for Avalon LA to become the next Fabric.
