What is this TOTA circa 03/04??

I lovd that epic whistle thread last time there was a thread on this... I think it was about some reg sketchbag @ System/Guv who always went to town with his whistle... @ the most bizarre times...

When I first started going out to clubs in Toronto a few years ago, every time I went to the Guv't there was some guy in an orange outfit/wig (same one the 3 or 4 times I went) who'd run around with a whistle all night.

I havn't been to the guvt in ages - so no idea if he's still around, but fuck was he annoying.

Lame city... I hate it. However, possibly the worst ever is when you're listening to a DJ mix and the "MC" comes on during a peak breakdown and is like "Solo.... solo... solo..." and doing fake delay with his voice, completely off time, and just in general ruining the song. I always want to kick those asses in the nuts.

Italian clubs seem to be the worst for that, have a few sets that would be great except for the MC reminding me that I'm listening to "numero uno DJ tony rohr" about 50 times

this reminds me of that mint set by Schulz @ Club Doppler , where the announcer just wouldn't shut up! he was louder then then the set for fuck's sakes, every time I turned up the volume, he would deafen me with his stupid shouting

I kinda like some whistling if the party is fun! But, I agree it gets annoying sometimes. I remember there was one chick at TIL who wouldn't shut the fuck up. She just wouldn't stop for like at least 10 minutes..damn..
