The synth arpeggios are quite trancey, yes, but solely based on that I wouldn't label any track 'neo-trance'.

I'm surprised I haven't seen more reviews and discussion about this circling around TA. Hell, even with all of the producers that were put into TAs little poll they didn't even make it on the list. Funny.

Anyways...

I thought the album was great. I remember reading an interview where Rick said it's the album he'd always wanted to make. More laid-back and relaxed than a lot of their Emerson-influenced work. There are elements of Price's influence now, but without Emerson they've definitely stepped out into where they want to be and have taken a step back from producing a dance(-ish) album. Solid work, in my opinion.
