I always thought it was gross given what it was, then one of my Scotch mates got me to try some.
If you don't about what it is, which is no worse then what you get in frankfurters and other processed meats, it tastes like spicey sausage meat, not bad at all tbh.
As for food and countries:
Japan: Sushi/Maki/Sashimi
China: All things MSG!! Sweet n Sour chicken is my fav, with egg fried rice and shredded, crispy seaweed.
India: Bombay aloo and peshwari naans.
Italy: Lasagne
Greece: Stuffed vine leaves
France: Baguettes, profiterols
South Africa: Biltong/droerwors, cape malay curry (bit of a mixed one really, lol)
Mexico: Quesadillas
England: Sunday roast with chicken.
Middle east: Chicken Doner Kebab, with loads of chilli sauce and salad
