Quality. Many softwares are available to edit tracks and boost the song's volume, whereas I have not seen any that can fix track clipping and other aspects of poor quality productions. I am in total agreeance with DFX being only useful for lesser multi media speakers. Try using it with good quality monitors and it most definately does not sound better. It is however a great tool for people who do not understand how to properly eq and just want to listen to music. Bottom line is although it may not do what you think it does, if you think your experience is better with it then it has done its job.
