My highlight of the show a random, chance stumble upon glorious epic rock.

I went looking for food and saw some people with Chinese. I asked where they got it and they pointed me to the Future Shop stage.

I got in line for Chinese and all of the sudden a beautiful wall of sound hit me and held me in awe (nearly lost my place in the food line). I quickly got my food, wolfed it down and went over to the Future Shop stage to find out who was playing such amazing music.

1 drum kit, 3 guitars - no vocals. Melodic sweeping sounds, intertwined guitar harmonies. This band was incredible. The entire crowd stood there watching totally focused on the music these 4 men were creating.

I stood there another 20 minutes enjoying it before going to find a program to figure out who these musicians were... I would have stayed longer but I didn't want to lose my friends at the Bacardi Stage.

Explosions In The Sky

Phenomenal act: Talented composers, great players, beautiful music. I will go out and buy their CD just from the 25 minutes I heard them perform.

Explosions In The Sky play the exact same layered melodies I hear in my head (when day-dreaming, humming, etc). I wish I saw their entire performance.

They have a bunch of tracks for free download in the albums section. I encourage everybody to check them out.

Phenomenal.

I enjoyed the weekend. Saturday was a little trickey with the ATM's being down, ( and none of the f'ing staff knowing that their is a functioning one on the other side of the island)....it's okay, who needs food or alcohol when you have...wait......I couldn't get into the B-live tent without an alcohol ticket and... bjork's wailing could not drown out my stomach grumbling.

I still had fun though...Sunday's breakfast was 100000 times as tasty considering I went hungary saturday.

Sunday was a LONG day for me. Even though I really wanted too, I could not enjoy the rock performances from a distance and the crowds were too dense even for a thin lanky dude like me to squish through. I did tolerate the crowd for Tokyo Police Club...BURLINGTON WHAT WHAT!!!!

So I spent most of my time in the B-live tent, or the caged are where I could at least hear the main stage (only wanted to listen to SP, and not their new stuff).

MOJITOS are sooooooo yummy. But I wish I could have traded 10 tickets and drank from the pitcher instead of waiting in line for a number of times.

Seemed to notice Tech problem in the tent...specifically during Dirty Vegas. Never knew he could sing that well live. M.A.N.D.Y. surprised me with a techno set (YES GEORGE %$^#*%^#^) (never heard anything by/or about him besides that song with booka shade).

LOTS of interesting people at the festival. Didn't bother participating in any of the draws/contests/whatever they had organized.

I'll post the vids I took on saturday when I finally get a youtube account.

Tommy Sunshine/ Princess Superstar who played one after the other and performed together twice (she's got JUGS...her pics don't do them justice) both played 3 or 4 tracks that were the same. I don't know why.

****Evan G had the bartenders BUMPING at quarter to 2...I had to wait for his set to end before they would get me another drink!!!!!!!

LOL at the live saxapohone trying to keep up with JELO at close. A+ for effort...
*EDIT* I just read this and noticed all the errors...I'm going to bed now*
