4 band eq? Had it on my 92, never really used it much. It's a preference thing.
The restriction to one filter is not THAT big of a deal, limits what you can do to mix with the filters, but it's still nice to have one.
I think the FX feature will soon be found on their next high end mixer. Using an EFX with a xone 92 is a bitch, and regardless of how flexible the idea of studio style sends/returns are, they aren't DJ friendly.
You can get around it on the 92 using a channel and the wet/dry fader, but it ties up a channel.
I think the reason people SHOULD go with an A+H mixer are the sound and build quality. The money you spend goes into building a high quality mixer that will last, not in doodads and gadgets like effect processors and such. |
You call it DJ friendly, I consider it noob friendly. If you think setting up an aux/send is too much hassle for a DJ setup then maybe we just like to use and talk about high end gear on this forum while we don't have enough knowledge to use it. Who cares about the build quality? Any mixer at this price range from a major brand would be solid. And for the record, in terms of functionality x:62 is way more closer to the 92 than this new mixer, you think the other way because 42 looks like 92 but does not work like it.
