But I love how simple you make history sound. Only if it were so. Again, Arabs were not giving up land they lived in for thousands of years so Israel could have a Jewish majority...That is why they rebel. This is what I'm trying to make clear to you two. This is what OBL and the general muslim dissent is against the US, the west, and Israel. Once you realize that, then we can talk about a comprimise, or solution. Again, on what planet is there a sizeable Jewish population in India? Or are you talking about a parallel planet? The main Jews you'd find today are Israelis on vacation in Goa. Ever heard of Goa Trance? Ever wondered why it's so popular in Israel? Now you know.
And again, the Arabs of 1948 were hypocrites. The land of Israel, which they'd never actually controlled themselves, was going to be split up, and half of it given to them. For the first time. Ever.
So your whole Arab respresentation in the Israeli government is BS since there were to be no Arabs in the half of land given to Israel.
And these were people that up until a few years earlier had no representation in any Arabic country. All of those countries were controlled by the Franch and British, and prior to that by the Turks.
The blaming of Israel on all that is wrong in the Middle East runs parallel to the way nazis blamed Jews for all that was wrong with Germany. It's a great way to unify the masses, usually the lower class masses, by blaming everything on someone a bit different.
