Infact this is the first year I can honestly say the entire chart seems pretty accurate apart from Van Dyk at 4 and Tiesto at 2 (should be the other way round ;p).

Id hardly say the poll is dying - its getting more votes than ever before.

Im not going to reveal the name of the person I got it from because it wouldnt be fair to that person.

You must either work at DJ Mag or be close to someone who does, so I'm sure it's hard to hear that people think the poll is bunk. Perhaps you should go to a Chinese forum, I hear they take it seriously over there.

The polls credibility is dying. Maybe you should check the numerous other threads on the subject (if you don't believe me) both on this board and any of the other dance boards. People are sick of the poll, they do not believe the poll is credible and many think it is rigged.

That is why DJ Mag have been working so hard to make people THINK they are "cleaning it up".

haha your funny. I dont work for DJ mag or have anything to do with DJ mag and I never said I didnt think the poll was lame, but the fact of the matter is - its not DJ mag that vote - its the 375,000 people, all whom like different DJs.

The fact of the matter is that if it was based on raw talent, DJs like Andy Bagguley would be in the top 10. He is one of the best DJs out there right now and is so passionate about what he does. But, everyone knows its a popularity contest and the most popular DJ wins. Moan all you like, but the fact of the matter is that this is a true reflection of the most popular DJs in the world right now.
