The only reason this hardly or never happens in Europe and US or any other civil western country,is because before you enter a club, you always get checked out for weapons.

Pretend that this never happens here and i assure you that stuff like that could happen here as well.

Let's be honest here. Whilst it's a tragic incident, the majority of us are going straight to hell anyway and have been for a long time (Mostly thanks to Karim posting túbgirl) so one more silly comment isn't going to change that. This however is what happens when you let things go on in places with ass-backwards policies.

The problem is much deeper rooted in society than this. Getting checked out for weapons won't solve anything. If people still want to get weapons inside, they'll find a way. And btw, we don't have any security measures like that when entering clubs in Sweden. Have never been searched for weapons, with rare exceptions (Netherlands is one ), when clubbing in ~10 different European countries.
