Atlanta prays for rain, God responds sarcastically
Yesterday, Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue held a prayer vigil on the steps of the state Capitol, asking the Lord to bring rain to the parched Southern state. Said Perdue,
"All of us know we are dependent on rain. I am just a person who believes it comes from God."
Last night, God shot back with a quarter-inch of precipitation, which is probably less than He had planned before the vigil took place. Are these dried-out Christians just not praying correctly?
