Yeah some people look far too hard into dance music. It's made for dancing not chin stroking. Comparing something like TBU to epic trance is ridiculous, they serve different purposes.

Why can't you just listen to something and enjoy it, why get all technical about shit that really doesn't matter jeez.

Was going to make a thread about this but since it's BT under a different name it's relevant. Which mix of 'Calling your name' was it on American Pie?

Granny's 7" Edit was the one used in American Pie, only sped up a bit.
Granny's Epicure Remix is the long version of it.

Now I know that the album is question is not for your average trance/dance music fan, but for us who really take music seriously, BT blessed us with one to remember.
I didn't read through the thread, but I would like to say that I completely agree with this statement. There has been a lot of debate but that's just my personal take. Absolutely brilliant album, brilliant producer imho.

mto, calm the fuck down. not everyone will take and understand music the same way. We all take music in a totally different approach. not one sees music the same way as you do. we may share the same taste but we're all different. seriously man. you putting others down with your shittalking caused others to reply with arguments. don't understand why you couldn't just appreciate bt's TBU and end it with a couple statements backing your appreciation. Don't Hate. Appreciate!!!!!!

i havent listened to the album(about to dl it) but i think i would say to more fully appreciate any kind of music, you should listen to everything...except country. haha.

[i][bDo I need to take a musical theory class to be able to understand works of Beethoven, Mozart or any other classical musician? No.
i dont think anybody can truly understand classical works without theory training. you can of course appreciate them, which is good enough for me. but to say you could understand the music and why they did what they did in a technical sense without theory, no.

Also, listening to BT perform TBU live was a whole new expierence. All That Makes Us Human Continues was so moving with his lush vocal pads...
