I guess you're right. that never actually occurred to me before, but it's spot-on.

I loved how he was definitely the hero of the film, but always had his goal in mind. Like the scene when he was entering the building that was under attack - there were tons of opportunities for him to grab a gun from a dead person, but it didn't matter to him. He wasn't some action star, yet he was. All he cared about was getting the baby back. Pretty fucking cool character.

Definitely dissimilar to his character in Shoot 'Em Up.
