BME is an acronym for the Body Modification Ezine site (online magazine) and I highly doubt that site would be affiliated with a contest involving this sort of crap (but correct me if I'm wrong, of course).

There's a big difference between extreme body modification performed by trained piercers/artists/etc and self-mutilation while high or mentally ill, lol.
