The undisputable way to save money is to pregame with your own alcohol and try to smuggle some in. Don't underestimate the damage a night of heavy drinking in a club can do to your wallet. Sleep on the beach if you want, all the bums do it and they probably won't mess with you (the bums or security/police).

south beach at this time is nearly impossible......north of 55th and collins right now there are a few nice finds......

I hear all this talk about sneakin in flasks and bottles at the major clubs...do they not pat you down and search you before the club?

My buddies are making their first trip to WMC this year, and wanted advice on keeping it cheap also. Some great ideas here.

Mine was. Really pick and choose your parties. Then go to smaller ones around sobe, since the music can be just as fun but the prices for cover and drinks are proportionately cheaper. Sleep during the day to skip most meals, and find hotel parties since they have a variety of drinks specials and food specials.

I usually only come down from Thursday til Sunday, so hotel is only for 2 nights. We normally party through Sat night, then fly home Sunday morning.

Of the 4 years I've been to WMC, I average around $1200 for the entire time, while eating, drinking, and partying comfortably.

Pre-drink before you go out, buy food from the market, and bring your weapons of choice. Great tips to partying in WMC cheap.
