with pills I think you would be fine. On acid I wouldn't do it on your first trip or anything like that, but the effects aren't something that I would think would trigger a bad trip

I used to like doing it coming down from pills, and with a few bong rips it will make me mentally retarded. I would get wild auditory hallucinations though. I don't think combining it with pills alone would be good at all.
I would be scared to try it with DXM, as DXM already makes you stupid and slow. It remember it taking me like 20 mins to get off the couch, walk down the hall, use the bathroom, and make it back to the couch.
