I am definitely not a theologist. I would have thought that was obvious. |
You are NOT being empirical, you did NOT answer my question:

how can you argue that your own "personal morals" are not a product of your own personal experience?

This forces your postion to that of a rationalist.
If you were being empirical you'd know for a fact that our primitive instincts are to surive. Thus every human is capable of killing - especially to save his/her life. So not only are you not in agreement with evolutionary science, your example is irrelevant.
Having established that you are not in accordence with sceince, where is the basis for your premise? You need to understand that you are inclined to conclude by a priori reasoning. Your are either one or the other. This cannot be argued.
It's not complicated, it's very simple. I went back and looked at your other post:

Again, you are contrary to the process of evolution, therefore your argument only holds validness if your premise lies with creationism.
Lastly, so far you've mentioned a “lamb” scenario, which you seem to believe holds some sort of soundness.
You must understand that, primitively humans are omnivores, and we have our teeth to suit that need. And you say:

or was I predisposed to the fact that I don't think my life is any more precious than a cow's?
|
Again where are you drawing these conlcusions from? Because they sure as hell are not scientific.
So answer my first question, and understand that your argument can only fall into the following categories:
Either you are empirical, or you are a rationalist. If the former, then you’re confused and are dead wrong, if the latter, you’ve contradicted yourself by saying you’re not.
Or, maybe its...“it is what it is, because I SAY IT IS”?
Take your pick.
