I agree. I'd also think that a decent amount of people familiar with Deep Dish/Dubfire wouldn't even know that he's Persian. Ethnicity of a producer has never influenced me to buy/not buy their releases and I don't see why it would ever have any influence.

The problem is IF its not Racism itself in the civil rights sense, it is embedded in another form that is more subtle, as in some people have a musician, genre, or object to believe which in turns into their "racehorse" that they cheer on and they strongly believe in, in hopes that that the racehorses's achievements become their own in a sense because they invested energy into cheering it on in places like internet forums. There is a sense of pride. If you study the Monthly Top Tracks lists, its basically a people posting their "racehorses." You might have to study psychology or sociology to know what im saying here.
