Very few seem to realize that there is no such thing as justice - that what is done, what is perpetrated upon man by his fellow man, cannot be undone. That punishing supposed wrong-doers does not erase what memory somebody must live with and that some scars do not heal, no matter the means of law you enforce nor prevention you enact.

It's a pretty cold universe out there.
