Dannie you gotta do whatever makes you happy!
Funny thing is dannie, the first part of that "letter" was exactly what *I* have been going thru, but in a different way. I myself, have realized lately how much MORE there is out there to explore..... more people to see, more places to go, more accomplishments/success to be had.
I am pulling AWAY from the club scene and it is making me 10000% more complete and happy. Def not retiring conpletely, but I have experienced so much more when I am NOT in the club EVERY weekend.
So, I understand what you are saying, because everyone goes thru phases and everyone needs to do whats best for them, in their life at that very moment. If you are happy with your choices, as long as you dont hurt people in the process, then I say go for it!

Ditto, Yanks.
I`m more appreciative of other aspects of my life currently, and really enjoy the increased diversity and change of pace (and all the additional sleep I seem to be prioritizing! ).

Stop thinking.
That's the best advice. Stop thinking too much, especially of what others want, what others may think or what's best for others. I got that advice from my favourite design prof, who is a psychologist too, and believe me when I say I've produced my best works with that advice.

I think Tiesto said it best...
You can travel the world
But you can't run away
From the person you are in your heart
You can be who you want to be
Make us believe in you
Keep all your light in the dark
If you're searchin for truth
You must look in the mirror
And make sense of what you can see
Just be
Just be
They say learning to love yourself
Is the first step
That you take when you want to be real
Flying on planes to exotic locations
Won't teach you
How you really feel
Face up to the fact
That you are who you are
Nothing can change that belief
Just be
Just be
'cause now I know
It's not so far
To where I go
The hardest part
Is inside me
I need
To just be
Just be
Just be
Just be
Just be
I was lost
And I'm still lost
But I feel so much better
'cause now I know
It's not so far
To were I go
The hardest part
Is inside me
I need
To just be
Just be

i diden't know tiesto wrote lyrics? either way, thats a pretty good writing.
Hey tAmiKo, i'm new here and have obviously never met ya but i can empathize with your post and situation. I am/ have been in a similar state in the last little while. It may be hard, but reality checks as i call them (anything that makes ya stop and realize what you are doing) are really important. maybe this evolution in yourself needed to happen. Be true to yourself about what you want in life and you will be fine. So many people don't even stop to think about what they are doing so i would say that you are already ahead of the game so to say. Stay strong in your struggle and you will prevail.

The club scene is tired, pointless and overhyped. But that's something which only resonates when you discover it for yourself. In any case, best of luck 'finding yourself'. I think you'll find that most people grow out of the club stage, and the one's that don't are usually clinging onto something that has long since passed them by.
