Special K, I wouldn't even to begin to correct you or prove you wrong about your opinion on what you have just stated. You are have every right to voice your opinion on "if you call yourself a legend (or King...)" The thing is I didn't mention he calls himself "The King". And as far as I'm concerned I don't believe anyone else has ever stated "he calls himself the King". He eventually was titled with this by other people's opinion on him and his contributions towards the so called "Afterhours Scene" in the city. IF the promotors or owners or whoever signs the cheques wants to utilize this means of "Promoting", I believe they can and will.

And to Xavier, this issue was never intended to try and sway or change the 20 or so people's opinions on who they like and dislike. They will always have their opinions about Dj's in the industry and respectfully I wouldn't want to change that.

Several Dj's at the time, were new to this ability or has been able to perform this concept found it very challenging yet very enjoyable. And Dekoze was one of the many Dj's who was lucky enough to be able to do it with Addy. The other Dj's who mastered this technic with Addy are all at THE BASEMENT now. You know, you were there last week...

Nor do I ever think either of them would call themselves the best djs or the best dj duo in the world. Can anyone picture a flyer with "the best DJ from Canada" besides Richie Hawtines name. Or "King of all NYC DJS" besides Danny Tenaglia's name or "The Godfather of German Techno" besides Sven Vath's name.

He would never utter those words...to anyone...ever...

If that was on a bill...then whoever designed the flyer put that label in as a show of respect for someone who truly deserves it....

It was ABSOLUTELY Addy who is the reason the early sunday is the way it is...

i understand that but it what really bugs me is that was supposed to be a roll call. and all of a sudden theres bunch of people belittling addy for no reason whatsoever.

of course people have right to their own opinion but in a situations like this its better to say nothing than to run ones mouth like that. wouldnt you agree?? whats the point??? cause i really dont get it.
