They SUCKED last year:
Numbers - average
Estoril - awful
Tickle - awful
Karma Car - awful
Dave Gahan - Kingdom (Booka Shade Club/Dub Mix) - awful
Dubfire - I Feel Speed (Booka Shade Remix/Dub) - awful

Haven't read the whole thread, so maybe someone mentioned him, but I'd nominee Funk D'Void anyway. He had a great 2007, and he's really constant in producing good stuff

And if he's not always fire at least he is almost ALWAYS interesting.

theres a couple producers like that, where, even if I'm not digging a certain tune of theirs, i can at least appreciate it for being different and interesting.

Winter was bland but Dave Robertson & Jon Gurd are in your list?

I confess, I enjoy well produced flatulence.

It's not Robertson's sound that's at issue - it's that he's easily one of the most boring producers I can imagine. I can think of exactly none of his tracks that were ever even remotely interesting to me.

His remix of "Eggs Are Cute" in particular was really, really frustrating.

Edit: As for Jon Gurd, I don't even know who that is.

Hes a different Dave Robertson.

The only tune by Robertson I like is when Timewriter remixed him.
