Bill Hicks was big Chomsky fan btw, ironically (in some senses).

I'm thinking that perhaps that was before Chomsky became a left-leaning gatekeeper.

Remember, even Alan Greenspan used to speak out in opposition to the Federal Reserve and then look where he wound up.

I think that they often try to bribe you before they try to silence you through other means. They have plenty of slush-funds to do that with so that part of it is definitely not a problem.

My friend's dad was offered like $500K just to spy on the Venezuelan's and it wasn't until he turned them down a second time that things got ugly for him (i.e. - physical, political and economic retribution.)

That's because it was actually from the 19th century. If you had clicked on it you might have noticed (on the following page) the link that says, "Who's this in the picture?"

Seriously. Every time he comes back to the PDD he proliferates the front page with threads that he posts the same quotes, insults, and apocalyptic jeremiad bullshit in.

This is by no means a comprehensive list, but here's some awesome stuff that came from China: Paper, gunpowder, the compass, early printing, Lucy Liu, Toothbrush, Kelly Hu, Porcelain, Lynn Chen, Suspension Bridges, Kung Fu, and Jackie Chan
