The 2nd-last time I saw Oakenfold in Toronto, his beat matching was ok.

But the last time I saw him in Toronto, it was a disaster. It was like amateur hour at the Kool Haus. It was ridiculous.

That being said, I figured he was on something...probably blow (like you said) plus a few beers.

Mixing (beatmatching AND phrase matching) is pretty standard but for me it's also tracklist that does it. It's THOSE two main things dj wise that will make an awesome set. If it flows and the party is rocking nothing beats it.
