LOL
My argument doesn't need to hold water with anyone but me because it isn't an argument at all, it's an opinion - and no amount of your incessant and mildly coherent babbling is going to change it.
I trust my ears - and I certainly don't trust the majority of those who post here, so it should come as no surprise that it falls to you to convince me, not the other way around, and further that you aren't very likely to do so anytime soon.

lol i found this on detroit techno militia's website:

Jeff Mills
Urban Legend has it that there is a city ordinance in the city of Ann Arbor, MI that prohibits Jeff Mills aka The Wizard to play within the city limits. Back in the day, people would line up around the Nectarine Ballroom and police would not be able to control the crowds that would come to see him. Circa approx: Late 1980's
*waiting for the obvious joke from RJT*

ok
Jeff Mills, in my experience, cannot mix for shit
what amplifies the matter is that he attempts a very difficult style of mixing (similar in technique to rob hood, rolando, ben sims, dave clarke etc...), and on more than a couple of occasions when I've heard him, has played records out of time with each other for a considerable period of time without realising he was fucking up [insert obligatory spinback here]
great producer, shit DJ

If Jeff Mills is really a good DJ and everyone who says otherwise has just caught him on a bad day, somebody post some fucking evidence.

I tried to track down the DEMF 2007 videos where he's actually mixing (the ones on Youtube are just short clips of one tune playing at a time - or total shit for quality).
I've been trying to track down a thread made by Omega_Blue a couple years ago where he basically posted a few videos and sets and then asked "Why is it again that people think this fellow is a legend?"
So far no luck though - the only "evidence" I can cite (beyond widely circulated live sets and my own experience) is all going to be banter from local Midwest forums.
I'm not asking you for evidence, because I've heard over and over that Mills can't mix for shit. I want to hear some good mixing from the guy to show that he can mix, or could somewhere in the depths of time.
