Those songs are abominations.

The album will probably sell a million copies.

Go Armin.

Nice one. That made me lol a bit when I envisioned the soap opera. To me that sounded like he was trying to rip off bjork - bachelorette or something in an extremely horribly untalented and cheesy way.

I still don't understand why so many people like him. I'm guessing because he plays extremely mainstream style trance. Rain was the only thing decent on here and it's not even that great. A couple others would be good in a remix (by someone who's doing more than farting on a keyboard).

Tiesto's elements of life has a lot of mainstream style stuff but for me there's a lot more to enjoy on that. Nothing I heard of all those samples even remotely drew me in to wanting to listen to them. It's really funny to watch that video of him complaining about cheesy tracks that aren't trance and dj sammy and then...this album...wow...guess he saw where the money is.

LOOOOOOOOOL !!!

edit :

its not that bad .. really .. has alot of potential , and the samples are not enough to judge..seriously.

and whoever said that this album will sell a million copies , is right ... he will appeal to the vocal loving masses , and then release Dubs , remixes , magic island edits, universal religion remixes , duderstadt vs inpetto remixes , josh gabriel vs dave dresden remix , Tiesto vs Allure remix , Sunlounger vs Highnoon at salinas remix etc ... and appeal to the rest of the non commercial edm listeners , and be the hero once again !!

He is a business man !! and you will love him ... IN THE END !!

it says so in the Bible ... !!!

After listening to the sample of #5 Hold On To Me, I think we have a clear early favorite for worst track of the year. Her voice mixed perfectly with a souless lame shitty farty bassline.

well i think some of vocals (not judging the song textsts ofcourse) are excellent... and as said above, a lot of remix potential. BTW, that last tracks sounds like its co produced with airbase... same kick/bass and power

I disagree.

When you make a sample for promotion, what 1:30 are you going to use? Obviously the best part of the track.

Dance music repeats, so you have to assume it's not going to be much different one minute before and one minute after. Maybe just a breakdown, which I hate anyways.

The first 2 minutes or so and the last 2 minutes or so will simply be generic intro/outro beats, just like all of the other shit he plays. See MrJiveBoJingles' intro mashup for more on this. We all know that trance intros are pretty horrendous to listen to by themselves.

All I know is, it can only get worse than the samples for the simple reason that the best part is likely the sample. And if it's worse AND repeats itself, then I will really hate it over and over again.

Not necessarily, Nefardec. It could be like the Domino's Pizza effect. One Domino's pizza for $10 is horrible beyond imagination. But 4 Domino's Pizzas, each with different topings, also for $10, now we're in a different game. Toss in the free 2-liter bottle of Code Red Mountain Dew and we've got ourselves a party.

So, 1:30 of Armin...God, that's painful...But 7 minutes. Boo-ya. Dance-time. Touchdown.

Audrey Gallagher is a disgrace, she couldn't get a gig singing on a children's show.

An album doesn't look great if the best sample is just a regurgitated Tyas sound. But they are samples so you never know.................................................................

jeah but i like slow pop stuff too....., this shouldnt be necessarly seen as a full on trance album... as a pop/dance/trance album i think its pretty good overall.
