is that serious???? any money a college earns from investments must be used for educational purposes. it's not like a corporation where the money is then distributed to shareholders who can use the money for whatever purpose. for the most part people don't walk away with tons of money (granted, the dean makes bank, and coaches do also, but they are employees). The institution itself is not capable of profiting because all the money it earns is required to be used for educational purposes - which in the end benefits students in the form of scholarsip programs, facility construction, etc...
