Many people in the world want to have me play. I get a message about every single day.
Thanks so much to many of you for coming here and posting your enthusiasm.
The gigs in May should have happened, but my agent finally kept a few contacts and postponed the gigs.
I announced last week that I was going back behind decks. The reasons that pushed me to get back are first of all the demand, and secondly my situation. I'm now the proud parent of a little girl, and I want her to feel proud about her dad, too.
NOW, listen guys,and ladies. This time I'm REALLY playing in the US, on November 14th. It's signed, confirmed, whatever, and it gives us plenty of time during august and september to organize a small tour of minimum 3 other cities in the country. A combo East Coast/ West Coast would be rad. As I'm already flying to the first city, this means promoters can spare a LOT of money, as they'll only have to pay for a national trip plus an extra for flying back to Belgium, and it's probably what stops them at first, the flight ticket. I'm even in talks with my friends from Canada in order to play there during the same period.
I know that many of you want to see me play, but they don't join forces. One person at a gig ain't much. So spread the word around you into your Areas, as obviously posting here won't help. Promoters don't take the time to read our beloved forums generally. If you want promoters to book me, they have to feel that the situation is not risky at all, therefore you have to be hundreds or maybe dozens or it won't make sense and then won't happen.
It doesn't need to be big parties, but they must be good. You know where to find me on FB to discuss this further.
