the best part of the night was the encore where Digweed dropped the Leftfield track (Cut for Life I think? memory a little fuzzy cause of the long Tenaglia mind-fuck afterward). a few good songs here and there through the night including one real monster from Digweed but I didn't feel like a real groove ever built, maybe about half an hour of Digweed vortex, Sasha took his builds even farther than I thought possible and the venue was terrible for a show like that.

just got home, sasha and digweed were insanely ripper! the warfield was such a good choice in venue for them, the all-ages factor didn't impact the awesome crowd that showed up and the venue staff were very friendly, organized and efficient. ins and outs were a plus! i went to 4 huge parties on friday and the s&d experience was imo the pinnacle of the night. everyone i encountered in the crowd throughout the night seemed like they understood the music very well, which is more than i can say for any other 18+ event i've been to. the view from the back of the lower level towards the end of the night was epic... a sea of arms pumping in the air while the lights and music went off. it reminded me of daft punk at greek theatre.

great venue for edm....
