So what you're saying is that because there are some people who either don't understand religion or abuse it for their own purposes then all belief systems are "bullshit"... I'll use invalid in place of bullshit. Following this logic then one must expand it out to any concept that is misunderstud or misused. One could easily argue that pretty much every economic, politcal, philisophical, or social system has been misunderstood or misused by some... thus they are all invalid. Democracy for example; because money is needed to seek office those with money to donate to candidates use that money to gain influence, thus Democracy is bullshit. Free market economy; in a free market economy those who own the means of production can misuse their power to artificially drive down wages or other costs to their own benefit... thus free market economy is bullshit. You can do this for pretty much anything that involves humans... including your argument... your argument employs erred logic, meaning you have misunderstood or misused reason, thus your position is bullshit.

Please, cite some studies that prove sexuality to be genetic. My understanding is that the latest research shows that approximately 50% of homosexual men share a genetic mutation which is rarely found in heterosexual men and never found in women. The other 50% of homosexual men and 100% of homosexual women have no such genetic mutation. Now, I won't get into the whole theological discussion over whether or not a mutation can be considered to be part of god's plan (that debate is beyond any of us here); however, if only 50% of homosexual men have a genetic abnormality then one can only conclude that homosexuality is genetic in 50% of men... one can draw no conclusions regarding how sexual preference developes in the remaining 50% of homosexual men, heterosexual men, or women of any sexual orientation.
