Well i have wifi at school and at home, which is where i spend the vast majority of my time. SO its not so pointless after all.

Every PDA Phone is a mini computer, we all have emulators and we all can watch movies. I use to like my SNES emulator, but once I started to play all these new game with touch screen ... never touch my emulators anymore. The thing is, we barely use these functions .... games, movie and etc.

On my Treo
I have 4 diff GPS systems,
there are tons of apps skin to mod the OS
There are so many hacks to improve the OS
I flash any firmware ver on my phone I want
Even if my phone is stolen, there's an app I've installed that can lock, format, ban my IMEI and lock my sim with just txting a code to my phone.
I can control my computer anywhere I want wth my treo
I can unlock my car door via BT
and the list goes on and on and on

The main thing is, there's no restrections at all and i don't need to activate anything through iTunes or any syncing software.

WiFi ... better bring yoru charger with you, that shit drains your batt faster then anything

Since you don't have a real keyboard, you can't txt while doing things ... you gotta look at the screen and hope your pushing the right letters.

Bottom line is ... do you homework and think about it before you buy any APPLE product.

I personaly like the iPhone ... I like the hardware, but for fuck sakes Apple's restrections is really fucking them and everyone else up. There's so many things ppl can do with it, only if Apple was smart enough and allow anyone to wrtie programs for it.

I watch some movies here and there, but most of the time, i'm driving and there's no time for that Even if I had an iPhone, I'll rarely watch movies ...


When the iPhone came out, ppl were like that's one cool keygaurd. Some dude wrote a keygaurd for the Treo, that does the same shit and also displays the 5 day forcast with some serious graphics and animation.

I saw some dude's HTC,he hacked the shit out of too ... it very nice and barely saw any elements of WM6 on it.

Wooooooo HTC. I love my Touch and it is hacked to hell and back, custom ROM and all that junk. My only qualm with it is the slow Texas Instruments OMAP 850 CPU, but shit, I even overclocked it so that isn't an issue anymore

I never understood watching movies on a phone, even the iphone. Gives me a headache. Maybe I'm just gettin old.

dont like the iphone.. and i LOVE apple.. i bought mine in nyc along with 8 others about a year ago to sell here... made some decent money.. but got rid of my personal one a week after i got it .. didnt like it at all. i love my blackberry..(the generation before the stupid trackball came out) .. yeah not a fan of the 8830 and curve bb's either .

I haven't overclocked the cpu on my Treo ... but, there is like 4 apps that will do it. Gonna keep it stock, just like my computer
