well of course not. but i also dont think you can claim that the bias against homosexuals in the US is the same kind of barrier that legislative racism was. individual prejudice is a very different thing to systemic bigotry. dont get me wrong, i completely understand that homosexuals are a higher risk group if we're talking violence, and i am one of the few that supports hate crime legislation. i just like things in their correct context.
