Is this going to be a pool-party or a massive open-air rave event? Because some of these tunes are very nice but i don't think that they are suited for cool pool-parties. Perhaps you should consider playing disco/funky-house or deep-house with a summery/loungey flavour. Thats the kind of music i would play in such a party.

yeah i wish i had a more funky selection. but i just went through my discogs and selected the tunes that reminded me of summer. im going to call my friend and ask if she really wants me to play becouse i don't think the majority of the people there will be into it.

That song is not cheese, it was never made popular until it hit ISOS4, and i would call it (prog) trance.
