sick night.. sharam greatly distanced himself from his previous musical standings.. wasn't too melodic had a really techy tech techy tech sound to it.. pretty serious contrast with ned shepard who warmed up nice but i have this nagging feeling that the set he played friday contained more than enough tracks similarly arranged to the one he let loose before dubfire in march
room was packed around 6-7 and decompressed pretty quick around 8. the crowd had a 20y-o average, meaning there was older and younger. among the younglings some fucking dude falls off the stage flat on his back in fucking fetal position, eyes roll back, white fluids ooze out of his mouth while he seems to be experiencing what looks like an epileptic attack. WTF!!!!!!!!!!! killed my vibe for the whole night. fucking fiends. |
1) the guy OD'd; nothing more to it...i think i even know EXACTLY who you're referring to. he was allllll over the place at the very start of the night...jumping on the speaker/stage, running around like a fool...he tried coming upstairs but i saw the bouncer stop him in his tracks.
2) ned dropped 2 of the same tracks as when he played before dubfire. 2, no more. the arrangement of his tracks had a consistent build to it, the kind that one uses to open up for an international headliner. so ya, his arrangement may have been similar but in no way were there more than 2 of the same tracks. and if u think u know his track selection better than maher or i, well, too bad; you don't
...
overall, i had a decent time...i really liked the visual set-up w/ the yoshitoshi visuals and stuff, super cute. i love ned; i think he's a musical genius both in and out of the studio and i love that his name's being pushed more and more. one of the few remaining QUALITY DJs in this city. i didn't stay to see sharam; was too tired + maher had to sleep a bit b4 his after8 gig (which i didn't attend; i like sleeping ) i heard sharam was slow and far too experimental/obscure. actually, aside from fullhouses' thoughts on his set being techy techy techy, i heard he absolutely blew. any other reviews?

dude, you have NO idea what kind of people there are out there. well i'm sure you do, but anyways...
i have acquaintances with pretty harsh heart conditions (as in they've had open heart surgery 2 or 3 times in their 25 years on this planet) and i see them time after time, railing away and popping like there's no tomorrow.
some people don't get it, man....a very sad but scarily true fact.

lol @ quote, sorry just had to
wtv there was DEFINITELY more then 2 of the same tracks, unless these 2 tracks last a summed up 45 mins
what was it you were saying about DJ's who played the same tracks a couple of months later? |
1) in regards to the quote, modifying people's quotes is really young, what is it with assholes putting words in other people's mouths? so congrats for your immaturity...i think u've proven it to everyone here.
2) again, if u think u know ned's tracks and his selection, good for you. we all know you are wrong as hell. so keep thinking you're right, does it make u sleep better?
3) i clearly remember what i said about DJs playing the same tracks over and over again: how it's BAD. too bad ned DID NOT play more than 2 of the same tracks as when he opened for dubfire. try again asshole.
and again i have to say it, grow some fucking balls!
