Flew from Milwaukee to Las Vegas, from there drove to Grand-Canyon and back (stayed over night at G. Canyon), then to Los Angeles -> san diego -> Los Angeles -> Las Vegas. All this in 5 days total miles on car 1700.

From Austin, TX to Monterrey MX for spring break.
The desert creeped me out, it felt as if it was never going to end. At times, I wondered what would happen if the car stopped working. There was not a single soul outside, nuts. But, it was worth it. Had tons of fun!

In december 05 me and my mate Ryan borrowed my mum's car and drove it from Brisbane down the NSW coast to Sydney. We stayed in Sydney for Christmas eve and Christmas Day.
On Boxing day we went to Canberra, and then drove back to Brisbane the inland route. All in all about 2000km I think.
Highlights included
-A weird guy we picked up from a backpackers
-Parking the car in suburban Sydney and catching the bus into the city to save on parking LOL
-Discovering our headlight was hanging out of the front of the car by the connecting wires, ironically as we were pointing out to another driver that they had something wrong with their car. We fixed it by wedging a folded brochure between the light and the panel.
-A security checkpoint to get onto Bondi beach on Xmas day
