my uncle was told he had 3months to live after he got some type of insane cancer. he went to as many banks as he could, took out as many loans as he could for bs reasons, and dropped every last dime on a crazy one off excursion around the world (mostly southeast asia). after 6 months he was still alive and no money.

yay 4 being alive and having a crazy story as a bonus. nay on pissing through a tube.

Is he still alive now? What ended up happening with the loans? Like did he get in shit for making up stories?

Still alive. No internal organs, just tubes and plastic. married (gf for life, whatever, they don't believe in marriage), no kids obviously. beautiful large pad in the country outside ottawa, w/ pool, and mad acres. their world travelers, that's what they spend all their money. i guess he became 'inspired' after the big trip. as for the loans, it was a long time ago, took him forever to pay them all off. but retained a very good paying canadian gov't job alongside my pops. apparently his absence was understand w/ the whole cancer thing. gov't is a bunch of pussies, underworked socialites. in a firm they would have replaced him after a month
