Pretty fun definitely. Wasn't packed, but their was a great party, we have to consider that the guys had 2 days promoting this event, held on a wednesday. The good side of this, is that we had the feeling of a real intimate party with Desyn... won't happen again in a while i'm sure. So i'm glad to have been there.

Haven't heard Desyn Masiello play like this before... he definitely knows what the stereo crowd likes. People into the more tribally stuff were served like Kings and Queens. Desyn is definitely a great DJ having seen him play different styles, but having a way of always playing what the crowd in front of him likes... yesterday was a perfect example, the crowd loved it.

On the downside, the sound system seemed like to miss some frequencies... but it's not an afterhours, so wasn't expecting much better sound. Anyways, it didn't affect the party, only DJs were making the comment, so wasn't that bad... and my ears don't hurt, that's the principal.

Find it somehow funny that i was the first customer there, for a "saving stereo" event, i was there early because i thought their would have been a line up by 10pm.. desyn starting at that time... i guess with more time you guys could have filled up the place. The rain and the Radiohead concert didn't help...

For people asking why were you there? of all events, why this one ?well i love my montreal edm scene and the stereo crowd is part of it... just wanted to make my part to help you guys, even if it's just to show my support. I really felt has if i had to. Tired of seeing people fighting over which club or which music is the best... My answer: none is the best, all parties are different and necessary to make this scene worth while.

Stereo isn't the last staple, nor is Circus, but pieces of the puzzle.

So now, back to work, we got to keep the scene alive and kicking

Sooooo, very nice and intimate night with desyn and friends, music waas very good, overall i had a really good time!! Also, I'd just like to congrats maher for gettin that night to hjappen, good job bro!!

I would just like to thank everyone who made it out last night and showed there support to stereo, this is a night that will truly go down in the books as it was simply about the pure pleasure of music and giving support to something that we are all missing in this city.

What an awesome night, I haven't had that much fun at Stereobar since last blue moon. Thanks to Maher for making it happen, and thanks to Master Desyn for those delicious delicious beats...sheer musical bliss <3 ..The vibe was pure love..everything was perfect.

Awesome night as expected! 150+ people makes for a full yet intimate energy in that club. Kudos to maher for pulling this off and an obvious grateful thank you to the real fans and of course Desyn himself...

Afterhours is a state of mind, but significantly, it's more a state of 'I don't mind'. A determined continuation, contentment and relief that 'it ain't over yet!' An injection of music into attitude and occasion which creates an emotional wave forth that isolates globally, a ringing harmonic, a signal to a like-minded collective that 'we are only us'.

So I was in t.o. last week and I literally missed a last minute chance to catch the SOS cruise by a few minutes. Like I think it left at noon but I had ignored my phone all morning until 11:45. Gahhhh...

Then I got into mtl yesterday morning for something totally non-related and of course after that debacle I decided not to be lazy and checked TA myself. best surprise ever.

I don't keep up with the AH scene here, but from this thread it seems like there has been drama? All I know is last night there was a really enthusiastic group of people dancing to an amazingly responsive DJ. Felt a lot of love (for the club and the music).

all i know is my right leg still hurts,my shoes are done, superb night, overall excellent night, very nice track selection by desyn shifting from time to time, 2nd beat of the night (at like 10:15) killed me, i told you Maher,still hunting for it .Maher awesome job my man, you pulled a nice stunt right there. Nice seeing you Erika, just awesome stuff, in hopes Stereo will get back in the works sooner then later.

i don't know about drama but stereo afterhours burned down. last night was at stereobar

lol haven't been away for that long. Bad word choice. I just think if there's still teams that can pull off events like that there shouldn't be any doubts about the direction EM in mtl is heading.
