Nothing could be further from the truth. MacBook Pro's are aluminum where as the regular MacBook is made of plastic. If anything, the regular MacBook is more likely to break.

Yes, but Microsoft Office for Mac is much better and very cheap. Only $150. I think the Student and Teacher edition is only $99.

Ram is not upgradable in a MacBook, because it comes with 2GB, and the motherboard only supports a maximum of 2GB. It IS upgradable in a MacBook Pro to 4GB.
Processors are not upgradable in any laptop, Apple or otherwise.
