Opera is actually pretty cool. What sucks is the staff. And a lot of old school people here (who went to parties back to the 90's) don't like the crowds, but that's because we're all old and new young whipper snappers suck. (Like, for an example of how things have changed, how I noticed that there were a lot... maybe majority... of ethnic kids and it used to be all white/asian party kids) The thing that sucks about Opera is the staff. Anyways, I liked Carl Cox's set even though I'm not much of a house fan. I saw him years ago at the Tabernacle, back at that Hybrid/Carl Cox party where there was the pink sign that said "Carl Cox is my father" and you can see it on Hybrid's MySpace page. I think that this music was solid.

What was that Daft Punk song he played? Or was it Chemical Brothers... oh jeeze if this was a trance DJ there would have been a set posted by now

Ya...Opera really sucks now in my opinion.

I never had an issue at Eleven50 though, always enjoyed the set and never had an issue with the crowd or staff.

Now the music is still amazing, but wow, I'm afraid I'm going to shove a cigarette up someone's nose or a whistle down someone's throat now.

But Carl Cox is the fucking man.

Great fucking set. I love the Tribal Beats. I love them. If anyone has some names of songs he played (track list anyone!?!?!?!) that would be awesome. All in all, I don't really listen to Cox's style, but he's always so amazing live.

So if anyone has some songs that he played that I can go buy and add to my collection, it'd be appreciated.

Also, Mark Lewis was awesome too.

Carl Cox was better than Sasha....but I had fun both nights

Agreed. I thought Cox was better than Sasha, which says a whole lot considering Sasha is one of my favorites. Carl Cox ripped the damn roof off that bitch.... wow. It was non stop, high octaine.... amazing.
