i still haven't made a batch of my marinara with actual fresh tomatoes. i use greenwise crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce and tomato paste. still pretty damn good.
and i never understood how people can dismiss such great foods simply because of texture. u guys need to develop more sophisticated pallets. one of my petpeeves is people who dont like to try new foods. i used to be that kid that was like, "ew no" and my dad would force me to try all kinds of weird shit. i'm glad he did because now i'll try and eat just about anything. i love food. even the weird stuff.
