i've dabbled with a few other mediums lately, as only doing music has become to monotonous for me. did some stuff in charcoal, my friend seemed to like it, enough to want to take pics and stuff. and i have a bunch of equipment to do oil paintings and i've only tried that once, so maybe try that again. also looking into making sculptures, as that's always been something i've enjoyed doing.

hmm ok, i just made myself a goal. I am going to have some exhibited at the Astrup Fearnley museum. Preferably near the Damien Hirst stuff, but also not too far away from Michael and Bubbles. within three years. wish me luck :P

also, if anyone of you are ever in Oslo, and you're even slightly cultured, you must visit the Astrup Fearnley museum of modern art. it is simply one of my favorite places in Oslo, I mean it's even up there with The Villa which is the 54th best club in the world, if you're to believe the DJ's who participated in the making of DJMAGS top 100 club list. Considering it only takes about 300 ppl that's no poor feat.

Whoa... I had no idea this thread was from 5 years ago. This was by far the best thing that ever happened to my, job wise. It was my first gig as a lecturer, and I had the time of my life for 2 years.

I don't think it could actually get any better than this. All right, it would be way more awesome if I could spin records in class and ride unicorns during the lectures. But it's good enough

I imagine starting out at EA (or going there early in your career) like starting out at a giant law firm. Nice pay, horrible hours, and going no where fast. Eventually that nice pay starts to not be worth it.

Absolutely, most programming stints are a drag; Unless you're working on your own research and development. "Do what you love and makes you happy", and I'd add "Save for retirement".

Have enough money to be happy and work on the things you love.
