On topic, I have problems with "sh" and "th" sounds but when I listen to recordings of myself, you can't tell. Sometimes, I'm sloppy with "w" sound and come out with "v" instead.

It depends where I am.. when Im in Canada I try to tone down the NY accent.. It stands out a lot haha.. but when I go home I always have to readjust .. pretty silly

I've spoken to a friend from Yorkshire and his accent is totally different and much harder to understand.


And don't get me started with scottish accents. LOL. It doesn't help that my friend talks fast AND has a scottish accent. He's like "fuwufburbgHIgkleoighnteyhROSE" and I'm usually like "WTF DID YOU JUST SAY?" lol.
